just a survey of the primary schools attended by the children in our estate.... which primary school does your child attend? Does he/she go to a student care centre?

PS. my 1st child is due to register for Pri 1 this year.... still at a loss which one to go for.....

Sorry for my late reply as this forum is so quiet that i hardly come in anymore.... soon i will not live in this estate anymore as my family is moving out.

As the nearest primary schools to our estate (Rivervale Pri & North Spring Pri) do not have single session yet & they do not have student care centre within the premises, it is not easy to arrange after-school care for my elder son who is entering Pri 1 next year. So far, i only know that two primary schools have student care centres in their premises - North Vista Pri & Sengkang Pri but both are not convenient locations for me.

Actually the academic standard of the primary school is not important to me as long as my child is happily studying there. As such, any neighbourhood school is fine for us. But as my hubby & I take care of our two children ourselves without helper at home or relatives, we need to factor in the logistics considering our long hours at work.

sorry for my late reply again as we have already moved out by end Oct (to a nearby town.... secret) & i am no longer checking this forum..... just for today only

we have sold our flat to a PRC couple of whom one of them has just become a SG citizen (that's why they could buy a HDB flat now!) Hope they will live in harmony with my neighbours as I had always get along well with them.
